Mechanical Breakdown Insurance
(Extended Service Contract)
An Extended Service Contract offered by the Credit Union through Auto Exam Automobile Services, Inc. can protect your investment from costly mechanical breakdowns. For just pennies a day your automobile will be protected from the unexpected. The Bumper-to-Bumper/ Exclusionary coverage for vehicles is the most comprehensive coverage offered. The coverage includes all* major vehicle components – engine, transmission/transaxle, drive axle, electrical, steering, air conditioning, brakes, enhanced electrical, suspension and cooling.

GAP Insurance
Insurance – GAP (Guaranteed Asset Protection) protects you against financial loss in the event your vehicle is totaled or stolen. GAP pays the difference between the loan balance and what your insurance company will cover. You must have an SSSCU auto loan to purchase GAP Insurance. There is a one-time cost of $295 for this coverage which can be added to the total loan amount or paid in full. You may purchase this coverage up to one year after the effective date of the loan.
