When you join Silver State Schools Credit Union, you're no longer just a customer... you're a member. And as a member you're part owner of a financial institution that was created specifically for you, by people just like you. To become an active member, all it takes is a minimum deposit of $100 in a Regular Savings account. Once you join, you will become a member for life - no matter where you live or where you work in the future.
At SSSCU we provide you with a variety of ways to save:

- MY Account Savings (for member age 18 -25; min dep. requirement $50)
- Junior Savings Account (for members under age 18; min. dep. requirement $25)
- Secondary Savings Account
- Certificates (includes Jump-Up and Jumbo Certificates)
- Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs)
- Money Market and Money Market Plus Accounts
- Checking Account
A member's funds on deposit with the Credit Union are insured up to $250,000 per account by American Share Insurance (ASI), a private deposit insurer, and an additional $250,000 through Excess Share Insurance (ESI).
