Regular Savings
(Adult Membership Account, Members 18+)
A Regular Savings Account, also known as your membership account, is the foundation of your membership in SSSCU. The minimum opening membership deposit is $100. This type of membership confers credit union voting privileges.
- Minimum Deposit and Balance is $100.00.
- Interest is compounded daily and paid monthly.
- Dividend rate is set by the Board of Directors and is subject to change.
- Funds can be accessed using an SSSCU ATM/VISA Debit card.
- Can be used as collateral on Credit Union loans.
Security
All member accounts with the Credit Union are insured up to $250,000 by ASI (American Share Insurance), the nation's largest private deposit insurer, and an additional $250,000 by ESI (Excess Share Insurance).
