e-Services Promotion – Official Rules

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. Void where prohibited by law.

ELIGIBILITY: Open only to members in good standing of Silver State Schools Credit Union who are 18 years or older as of November 2, 2009. Employees of the credit union and their immediate family members (defined as parent, spouse, child, sibling, or grandparent and each of their respective spouses) and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to enter. Sweepstakes governed by U.S. law. Subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.

TIMING: Promotion begins at 9 a.m. PST Monday, November 2, and ends at 5 p.m. PST Saturday, December 19, 2009.

HOW TO ENTER:

DO ONE OF THE FOLLOWING:

  1. Stop by any Silver State Schools Credit Union branch location and request an entry drawing ticket. Limit one entry per person.
  2. On a 3 x 5 postcard handprint your name, address, city, state, zip code, area code and telephone number and email address (optional) and mail to: Silver State Schools Credit Union, “Green Up” Campaign, P.O. Box 12037, Las Vegas, NV 89112. Limit 1 entry per postcard. Limit one entry per person. Mail in entries must be postmarked between 11/02/09 and 12/19/09 and received by date of drawing(s) to be considered eligible. All entries and requests become SSSCU’s property and will not be returned or acknowledged. SSSCU is not responsible for lost, late, damaged, misdirected or postage due mail.

    AND/OR ANY ONE OF MORE OF THE FOLLOWING AT ANY SSSCU LOCATION OR ONLINE. YOUR OPT-IN OR ENROLLMENT WILL CONSTITUTE ONE AUTOMATIC ENTRY INTO THE DRAWING:

  3. Enroll in e-Access online banking (must be initiated in person at an SSSCU location) between November 2 and December 19, 2009, and be in place through the end of the promotion, and the drawing for the $1,000 cash prize, which will be held on December 28, 2009.
  4. Opt out of paper statements and enroll in e-Statements. For qualified entries, enrollment must take place between November 2 and December 19, 2009, and be in place through the end of the promotion and the drawing for the $1,000 cash prize, which will on December 28, 2009.
  5. Enroll in e-Pay bill pay service during the time of the promotion (November 2 through December 19, 2009), and set up two payments that must take place between the date of enrollment through the drawing date, Monday, December 28, 2009.
  6. Opt in to receive email messaging (e-Updates) during the time of the promotion (November 2 through December 19, 2009), and be an active user of the e-Service between the date of enrollment through the drawing date, Monday, December 28, 2009.
  7. Enroll in e-Notices during the time of the promotion (November 2 through December 19, 2009), and be an active user of the e-Service between the date of enrollment through the drawing date, Monday, December 28, 2009.
  8. Enroll in e-Mobile banking during the time of the promotion (November 2 through December 19, 2009), and be an active user of the e-Service between the date of enrollment through the drawing date, Monday, December 28, 2009.

PRIZE:
The prize will consist of $1,000 CASH in the form of a Silver State Schools Credit Union cashier’s check. Winner is responsible for all applicable federal, state, local taxes.

RANDOM DRAWING:
The drawing will be conducted by representatives of the credit union, whose decisions on all matters related to this promotion shall be final and binding. A participant selected as a potential winner must comply with all terms and conditions set forth in these Official Rules, and winning is contingent upon fulfilling all such requirements. Odds of winning depend on the total number of entries received.

NOTIFICATION:
Winner will be notified by phone, and at the credit union’s discretion, will be required to complete an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability and a Consent and Media Release. By accepting the prize, the winner unconditionally and irrevocably grants SSSCU exclusive permission and right to photograph and allow all appropriate publicity.

RELEASE:
Participating entrants agree to these rules and the decisions of SSSCU, and release SSSCU and all other businesses involved in this promotion, as well as the employees, officers, directors and agents of each, from all claims and liability relating to their participation, acceptance and use of prize. Winners waive or assume all liability for any injury or damage caused or claimed to be caused, by participation in this promotion or use or redemption of any prize. SSSCU is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the promotion, or in the announcement of the prizes. Winners acknowledge that SSSCU and all other businesses concerned with this promotion and their agents do not make, nor are in any manner responsible for any warranty, representations, expressed or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the quality, conditions, fitness or merchantability of any aspect of prize except the prize shall be subject to manufacturer’s standard warranty.
