As a state chartered co-operative, we are owned by - and designed to serve - our members. Our core membership is comprised of individuals associated with educational organizations throughout Southern Nevada. If you are a volunteer, student, retiree, employee, or member of an organization (such as PTA or PTO), you, your immediate family, and those living in your household are eligible to join SSSCU. And if you ever change jobs, retire, or move away your membership benefits will continue.
As a SSSCU member you are not just a customer, you are an owner. Members share in the profits of the Credit Union in the form of better rates and benefits, and each member has a one share vote. SSSCU is led by a non-paid volunteer board of directors who answer to member-owners. The board is elected by the membership and is responsible for establishing and reviewing Credit Union policies and procedures.
