The Silver State Schools Credit Union service area is the entire state of Nevada. While our core membership is comprised of those involved in the educational industry, such as employees, volunteers, students and parents of students, anyone can become a member. Yes. There is a $3 Monthly Maintenance fee* that can be waived with 20+ debit transactions, or $1,000 aggregate cash, check and/or ACH deposits by the last day of the month. Requirements must be met each month to avoid the fee. The maintenance fee is also waived for members 60 and older.

There is also a $5 paper statement fee, which can be waived when you sign up for eStatements. The paper statement fee is also waived for members 60 and older. You may be charged a fee in other situations, including non-sufficient funds and returned checks

There is no fee for using your debit card at a Silver State Schools Credit Union ATM or other ATMs within the Shared Branch and Allpoint Network. To find Silver State Schools ATMs and other fee-free ATMs, visit our Locations page. However, if you use your debit or ATM card outside of our network, you may be charged a fee.
