When you’re just starting out, it doesn’t make sense to spend a lot on fees. That’s why MyAccount Checking has no monthly maintenance fee1, and we’ll waive up to three ATM surcharges each month if you need to use an ATM that’s not in our network.

Yes. With a General Membership, you can open checking savings, and money market accounts. Anyone who lives in Nevada can join! Learn more about how to qualify for a Silver State Schools Credit Union membership.

There is no monthly maintenance fee for MYAccount Checking. There is a $5 paper statement fee, which can be waived when you sign up for eStatements. You may be charged a fee in other situations, including non-sufficient funds and returned checks.

The Silver State Schools Credit Union service area is the entire state of Nevada. While our core membership is comprised of those involved in the educational industry, such as employees, volunteers, students and parents of students, anyone can become a member. There is no fee for using your debit card at a Silver State Schools Credit Union ATM or other ATMs within the Shared Branch and Allpoint Network. To find Silver State Schools ATMs and other fee-free ATMs, visit our Locations page. However, if you use your debit or ATM card outside of our network, you may be charged a fee.
